Afghanistan blast kills five members of anti-Karuna team
A roadside bomb in the Afghan capital has killed at least five people, including three doctors.
According to international media reports, the blast in Kabul on Tuesday morning targeted a medical staff vehicle while doctors were on duty.
According to the report, the deceased Dr. Pul Charki was treating the inmates in the jail. He was going to the jail on duty as usual when the explosion took place.
“The blast killed three doctors, including two women, and two nurses,” said Masooma Jafari, a spokeswoman for the Afghan Ministry of Health. She was working to stop it.
